Vulnerable Populations

These sessions provide clinical guidance and expertise on caring for patients that are vulnerable in several domains, including medically complex, social instability, language barriers, and transgender and nonbinary patients.

  • Academic/Research

This combined track is for hospitalists who practice in academic medical centers and face unique challenges, as well as for hospitalists in any setting interested in research. Every hospitalist, whether in a community or academic medical setting, who desires to bring greater rigor to their analysis as well as educational effectiveness will walk away from these sessions with new resources to implement.
