How can I access complimentary Wi-Fi for use during the conference?
- Network Name: converge24
- Password: converge24
Logging into the App
If you already have the app downloaded, logging in is just as easy.
- Launch the SHMLive app, search and tap the “SHM Converge 2024” event icon.
- Tap “Create Account”.
- Enter the event code.
- Enter your first, last name, and email address. Tap the “Create Account” button to complete the account creation process. You will immediately be authenticated; you may follow the rest of the profile setup process or skip to proceed to the event home screen. A confirmation email will be sent with a unique Access Key (password) for future account recovery purposes.
For on-site assistance at Converge 2024, visit the Tech Squad located in Converge Central in Hall F.
Why should I log into the app?
The entire app is gated for paid registrants only. When you create a profile within the app, you gain access to more features including the ability to:
- Create a customizable meeting agenda
- Download available presentation slides
- Directly message attendees
- Share over social media
- Share contacts
- Take notes
- And more!
All course materials are available in the Converge 2024 app for course attendees only.
Once you log in to the app, navigate to the Advanced Learning Course icon on the home screen. Select the desired ALC and enter the passcode. The course agenda, handouts, and available presentation files will be pre-populated.
Don’t have your ALC passcode?
The passcodes have been emailed to all ALC registrants. The passcode will also be provided at the beginning of each course. If you still have questions, please visit the SHM Tech Squad located in Converge Central in Hall F, exhibit hall level of the Convention Center.
How can I access the content on my computer?
The mobile app is only compatible with Apple and Android smart phones. Alternatively, you may visit to view and download the available agenda and slides for your ALC.
Abstract ePoster Competition
Credit evaluations for SHM Converge can be accessed and completed directly through the SHMLive app.
- Fill out your Credit Profile (Coming Soon) in this section of the app (without this you will not be able to claim a certificate).
- Navigate through the Agenda & Presentations button to the name of the session you are attending.
- Click the Evaluation icon from the session page and answer all required questions. Evaluations become available 10 minutes before the scheduled end of the session.
- Your sessions will appear under Completed Sessions in the Task List, and sessions can be removed if you evaluated by mistake. Each completed session will tally the associated credit amount.
- After evaluating each of your attended sessions, please complete the Overall Meeting Evaluation.
- Claim and save your certificate.
Please note: SHM will automatically report credit details to ACCME and ABIM, but attendees will need to submit any required credit items to AAFP, AOA, and ABP directly.

To access your Advanced Learning Course or Academic Leadership Summit evaluations:
- Click the link you find on the Agenda in your password-protected course materials.
- You will be taken to the SHM Learning Portal.
- Click “Log in” in the upper right and enter your SHM username and password.
- Once you are logged in, you will see a message confirming your enrollment in your course.
- Click the course title to enter the evaluation.
- Click “Take Course” on the right-hand side and follow on-screen directions to complete the evaluation.

SHM Converge On Demand gives you access to online audio and slide recordings from all didactic SHM Converge sessions plus you get 10 additional sessions that weren’t at Converge.
View sessions you couldn’t attend and earn up to 98.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and up to 56 ABIM MOC points. Visit the registration desk to purchase for the special on-site registration rate of $325 for SHM members and $490 for non-member. This rate will increase to $499 for members and $649 for nonmembers after the conference.

Accreditation Statement
The Society of Hospital Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Statement
The Society of Hospital Medicine designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 98.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 56 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
